Glaschu Spirits Co. - Islay Single Malt 15: Bourbon Barrel Single Malt

Distilled on the southern Islay coast, between Lagavulin and the town of Port Ellen... at a distillery renowned for its peaty coastal character.
15 years old, which was apparently the sweet-spot for this distillery's core range, in days past. They stuck with the bourbon barrel this time, as they really didn't want to change anything here, perfection from the first sample.
This is also the second in the Havelock Series, the label shows a view over industrial-era Glasgow, from the spire of Dowanhill Church.

70cl 50% ABV

Tasting notes from the producers: 

Nose:
Smoked dunnage, bacon, fresh sea air, brine and citrus zest

Taste:
Cereal sweetness - like frosties, BBQ’d meat, slightly smokey and salty with crisp green apple, and lemon 

Finish:
Sweet, smoke and spice battle it out for a good length of finish
