Downpour Sloe & Bramble Gin

Downpour Sloe & Bramble Gin is a Scottish gin with a complex fruity flavour. It is distilled at the North Uist Distillery in the Outer Hebrides. 

Tasting Notes 

On the nose fruity notes, with a lingering sweetness on the finish. It is a gin bursting with flavour, it's rich and fruity with tart berries while there is a slight sweetness of vanilla from the bourbon casks. 

Downpour Sloe & Bramble Gin uses Downpour Dry gin as their base then it is aged in bourbon 
whisky casks. The sloes get soaked for a long time allowing the stone to give 
almond/marzipan notes. A mixture of local and traditional botanicals are used in this whole process including:

Best served with plenty of ice, a blood orange soda and a slice of orange.
